About the One: (1) The three senses of the subtle

Looking at it
without seeing it.
Listening to it
without hearing it,
grasping to it
without getting hold of it,
you will be able to
achieve the plane of the subtle,
says Lao-Tse.
For that purpous
there is a condition:
you have to mix the three senses together:
You will see, hearing it,
you will ear, seeing it,
and finally
listening to it and looking at it
you will able to grasp it
without your fingers.
But
don`t try to describe it,
otherwise you will
belong to one of those,
the erudite,
the learned,
who dispute about it
with fine words.
Look, my friend,
be careful,
because
fine words
are not sincere,
and disputations
are not skilled in it.
I, for my part,
I have no fine words
but I am skilled
in the path of the One.

About the One: (2) The quality of the subtle

Posted on Jan 18th, 2009 by Emanuel : a friend Emanuel

When you
are enlightened,
you don`t feel  light,
you don`t feel anything.
You just are,
 what you are:
- Nothing...
this is the quality
of the subtle
in you.
But beeing nothing
means to include everything:
all good
and all bad things.
When you are enlightened
you will understand
that every word
you try to find out
for the honest purpous to describe it
will be not available for you,
no, not any more.
Because
it is not a matter of experience,
that you can have,
it is something else
beyond all  kind of meanings and explanations;
the space of images,
the space of thoughts and feelings
is just vanished,
it is gone.
You just are
the cloud,
the tree,
the stone,
the river,
and the bird.
O, this is not  even a state
because there is
no notion of time,
or space
to describe it:
Nothing
except the
the cloud,
the tree,
the stone,
the river,
and the bird.
If nothingness
is the quality of the subtle,
why do you want to read books
and to hear lectures about it ?
Why do you need
seminars and workshops
with all kind of sophisticated techniques
to achieve it ?
Listen, there is
no technique
and no book,
and no self-called guru
and no illuminated philosopher
which can really help you.
This is the first lesson
about the highest quality of the subtle:
Give up all your ambition,
just look at the bird,
at the river,
at the stone,
at the tree,
at the cloud
and
at the blue of the sky.
You will find there
the highest quality
of the One.
